Obarriel, ya posteé este mensaje en el foro anterior y me diste una buena respuesta.  :)

Mi problema es que el creative zen micro no me llegaba a las 4 horas de autonomía cuando publicitan 12 !!!  :?

Ahora viene una duda. Crees que debería actualizar el firmware para solucionarlo o directamente cambiarlo ???  8O

Si no la tienes, te recomiendo que instales la actualización de firmware 1.01.03 porque he leído que mejora el rendimiento de la batería y otras cosas importantes. Si con esto no notas ninguna mejoría apreciable cambialo, porque 4 horas es inaceptable.

Exacto ellos mismos son los que recomiendan actualizar el firmware y lo publican en su página web.

Eso sí instala siempre la versión europea:

It has been reported by some of our customers that they have experienced reduced battery life after charging their Zen Micro. Our product development team has researched these reports and determined that the users may have experienced this after they plugged their Zen Micro into the AC adapter that was already inserted into a wall socket with the AC power on.

While this is not the conventional way to plug in a player for charging, we wanted to ensure our customers did not experience this problem, so we have developed a solution to address this which simply involves upgrading the Zen Micro's firmware.

This new firmware also includes an enhancement to improve touchpad sensitivity. We recommend that all of our customers download this firmware update to enhance their Zen Micro experience.

Resolves the removable disk detection issue after the memory space is changed in Removable Disk mode

To install the new firmware in your Zen Micro

Download ZenMicro_PCFW_US_1_01_03_PDE.exe.
Connect your player to your computer.
Double-click ZenMicro_PCFW_US_1_01_03_PDE.exe.
Click the Upgrade button and follow the instructions that appear

Ya alucino... Resulta que me bajé la actualización y al querer instalrla me dice que ya está instalada en el aparato. O sea que aún así va de pena. No me va a quedar más remedio que deviolverlo y que me den otro o le cambine la batería a este.
